Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Rise SWFL (“Rise,” “RiseSWFL,” “we”) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers www.riseswfl.com, hvac.riseswfl.com, leads.riseswfl.com, other Rise business sites, customer landing pages hosted on our platform, and the emails we send (the “Services”).
The short version
- When you request a service, we share your request with local providers so they can contact you — that’s what the platform does, and every form says so before you submit.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t run advertising trackers.
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time: info@riseswfl.com.
Information we collect
- Service requests: name, email, phone number, ZIP code, contact preference, and project details you enter in request and contact forms, including estimate-calculator inputs.
- Business customers: business name, contact name, email, phone, service area, listing details, and billing contact for partners, clients, and lead buyers.
- Payment information: collected and processed directly by Stripe. We receive only limited details such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration date, and payment status.
- Recommendations: business names, cities, and notes you submit when recommending a local provider.
- Messages: the content of emails you send us and our replies.
- Usage and device information: pages visited, device and browser type, referring pages, and campaign tags (such as UTM parameters). We also derive your approximate location (city and region) from your IP address to show nearby providers and count listing views by city. We use IP addresses briefly to prevent spam and abuse and store only a one-way hash of them where needed.
We do not ask for government ID numbers or other sensitive personal information.
How we use information
- to route your service request to providers and follow up on it;
- to provide, bill for, and support paid listings, services, and leads;
- to send transactional messages such as receipts, sign-in links, and account notices;
- to measure and improve the Services and our marketing;
- to prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and keep the Services secure; and
- to comply with law and enforce our terms.
Communications and consent
By submitting a request you consent to being contacted about that request by us and by the matched provider(s), using the contact method you chose. We send marketing email only to business contacts who have a relationship with us or asked to hear from us, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. If we introduce recurring text-message programs, we’ll ask for separate, explicit consent first, and you can reply STOP at any time. Transactional messages about your account or request may continue after you unsubscribe from marketing.
Retention
We keep service requests and account records for as long as needed to operate the Services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations — generally up to three years after your last activity for request records, and up to seven years for billing records. Then we delete or de-identify them.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls limited to the people who need it, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and you won’t be treated differently for using them.
To make a request, email info@riseswfl.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We’ll verify it by confirming control of the email address or phone number on file and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. If we can’t fully honor a request — for example, records we must keep for tax purposes — we’ll explain why. Information already shared with a provider is also held by that provider; we’ll tell you who received it so you can contact them.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll post any changes here and update the date above. If we make material changes, we’ll highlight them on the Services and, where we have your email address, notify you before they take effect.
